Seriously though, Tyson and I would like to thank each and every one of you for making 2008 the most spectacular year ever! CrossFit 801 has grown into something that we never could have imagined. Sure, we hoped for a successful gym (which we have surpassed our wildest dreams). But, we never could have dreamt of the camaraderie and family that the people at 801 have built over the past year! We appreciate how hard you all work, and the atmosphere that you have created in our little warehouse gym! We hope to continue to provide you all with the best training, experience, blog, community, and results that we possibly can!

Blair — Nice Job on the Squats this morning…but…you got a lot more you could push I think. I would guess-timate something around 295#. It would be taxing but your form was flawless at 275#. Next time maybe do less "warm-up" weights and dont deplete your system prior to the "big mammajamma."
On a side note…Jamie we need to expand your musical repertoire. Working out to Bob Dylan and the occasional Phish jam can be just as moving as the latest and greatest from the Top 40 list. Blair…I need to come over and pilfer your music off your hard drive!

As I watched Blair this morning gleeming from head to toe as he enjoyed his music with no words, I made an executive decision. Blair can use his ipod on heavy lift days. It is the season for giving and Blair that is my gift to you.
With that being said, we will hear only Bon Jovi on every other day.
Lynn, get yourself a pink shirt and you to can have a day with your ipod.
