While the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games are rapidly approaching, in case you hadn’t heard or simply forgot, the 2012 Summer Olympics are almost upon us as well! As a matter of fact, they will be held the week following the CrossFit Games. A few weeks ago, we highlighted a past Olympian and CrossFit-friendly athlete, Kendrick Farris; and we were very excited to learn he has qualified for the 2012 US Olympic Lifting Team. It will be a captivating few weeks for us sports fans as we watch our favorite CrossFit athletes compete in this year’s Games, and the Olympians headed to London to represent the United States.
In honor of Kendrick and today’s workout, we thought it might be a bit inspiring (or jaw-dropping) to see him Clean and Jerk 452 pounds. Enjoy!
Part A
Clean (Power or Squat) 1, 1, 1, 1
3 Minute Rest
Part B

I missed hearing about the swim thing. I am not any better then an average swimmer. What will this do for me?
I will be there to give it a try.
Good workout today but man oh man was the air quality bad.
Unfortunately, I have to take it back. I’ll be out of town next Wednesday.
